Actress Lena revealed that her marriage is over. The groom is Air Force Group Captain Prashant Balakrishnan Nair of the Gaganyaan astronaut team announced by the Prime Minister.
Lena announced that she and Prashant Balakrishnan got married on January 17 this year and were waiting to reveal this information after the Prime Minister announced the astronauts. The actor released the information through social media.

Today, on 27th February 2024, our Prime Minister, Modi Ji presented the first Indian astronaut wings to Indian Air Force fighter pilot, Group Captain Prashant Balakrishnan Nair. This is a historic moment of pride for our country, our Kerala and for me personally. I have been waiting for this announcement to inform you that I have married Prashant on 17th January 2024 through an arranged marriage in a traditional ceremony to preserve the officially required confidentiality.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the names of astronauts for the country’s flagship space program Gaganyaan. Four people, including a Malayali astronaut, were selected for the Gaganyaan mission. Those four are Group Captain Prashanth Balakrishnan Nair, Group Captain Ajith Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap and Wing Commander Subanshu Shukla who are Malayali.
In 2021, the selected four completed the one-year training program from Russia. The training took place at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center under Russia’s Roscosmos space agency. Prashant Balakrishnan Nair is a native of the old village of Nenmara, Palakkad.
