Positive Changes to the Delivery Riders
The engines are powered by 4,000-watt lithium battery packs that can be charged at over 190 Careem bike stations across Dubai. Each bike can hold two batteries with a capacity of 2,000 watts each.
The bikes have a top speed of 80 km/hr. The batteries will be located at several different stations throughout Dubai. The shift towards Careem’s electric bike reduces the costs for delivery riders.
