Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the launch of a new bus route, W20, aimed at enhancing connectivity between Stadium Metro Station and Al Mamzar Beach. This weekend-exclusive service will operate from Friday to Sunday, running from 5 pm to 11 pm with departures every half an hour.
The introduction of the W20 bus route is part of RTA’s efforts to optimize public transportation services, particularly for beachgoers heading to Al Mamzar. By offering a convenient and efficient mode of travel, RTA aims to improve the overall commuting experience for passengers.
Additionally, several bus routes will be renamed as part of route optimization measures. Route 11 will be renamed Route 11B, while routes 16A and 16B will be integrated into Route 16, and routes 25 and 25A will merge into Route 25. Route 16 will operate from Al Rashidiya Bus Station to Al Awir, while Route 25 will run from Gold Souk Bus Station to Al Rashidiya.

Moreover, routes 103 and 106 will offer express services, providing non-stop connectivity from significant stations to Global Village.
Furthermore, Route E303 will be rerouted to pass through Sharjah via Al Ittihad Street, effective immediately. This change will also affect routes 16A, 16B, and 64A.
In alignment with its commitment to improving public transportation services, RTA will optimize the schedules of 13 bus routes to enhance travel times. These routes include 5, 7, 62, 81, 110, C04, C09, E306, E307A, F12, F15, F26, and SH1.
