Indigo Airlines, the budget airline company, has removed the fuel charge from the ticket price. The expatriate community is looking at the decision of Indigo Airlines with great anticipation.
Praveen Chaudhary from Saffron Travel and Tourism said that the ticket price will be less than Dh400. According to Indigo’s new decision, ticket prices to Delhi, Mumbai and some parts of Kerala will be reduced.
The ticket price hike was part of a series of hikes in aviation turbine fuel prices in October 2023. In October, the airline had introduced fuel charges ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 1,000. Recently, the price of ATF has decreased. Then it was announced that the fuel price will be removed from the ticket.
There will be a big change in the ticket price as the fare has been reduced according to the fuel price. There will be a reduction of up to 4 percent in the ticket price. Those in the aviation field say that there has been no such reduction in the ticket prices from the Gulf countries to India in the recent past.
