Google Maps is coming
New map additions have become a reality in Google Maps, which provides directions for more than 25 crore kilometers every day. Google is already using AI for digital mapping, and the most important of these new features is address descriptors. It is a technique to easily discover places based on landmarks suggested by machine learning. The service will be available early next year
Other improvements include Lens in Maps, Live View Walking Navigation, which is a boon for travelers, and Fuel Efficient Routing, which helps motorists save fuel. Google has designed the app in collaboration with ONDC and Namma Yatri, which provides the information needed by train passengers.
Google Maps Experience Vice President Mariamkarthika Daniel said that this will be implemented for the first time in Mumbai and Kolkata local trains.
