How to Apply Online for Birth Registration for an Indian Child Born in Foreign Country
To apply online first keep the child’s passport size photograph, parent’s signature and other documents mentioned above in soft copy.
- Visit the website of Foreigners Division Ministry of Home Affairs Government of India. (Website link is given below)
- Then click on the Apply online button. Enter details about the child.
- Application details section. (full name of the minor child, present address, town/city, country, pin, applying from which country, birth date, birth place, birth country, identity of mark, gender, email id, mobile number)
- In the father’s details section, enter the details of the child’s father (name, citizen of India by, occupation, passport country, passport number).
- Enter the child’s mother’s details in the mother’s details section. (name, citizen of India by, occupation, passport country, passport number)
- Then type the access code (captcha code) and click on save and next button.
- In the next window, upload the passport size photograph of the child and the signature of the parents.
- Then type the access code (captcha code) and click on upload photo/signature button.
- On the next screen, click on the final submit to the ministry button.
- Upload the child’s birth certificate, parents’ marriage certificate and parents’ passport copy in the upload documents section.
- Then click on upload documents button.
- The online application submitted by us can be downloaded by clicking on the print application button at the bottom of the next screen
