Trivandrum: The K Smart software said by Minister MB Rajesh for being implemented to offer services to municipalities and corporations. Just two weeks after its launch, the minister said that the software was extremely active.
1,00,616 individuals registered as of the 15th at 5 p.m. The smartphone app has been downloaded by over 50,000 users. The number of applicants for a marriage-death-birth certificate is 22,764. The majority of the certificates can be obtained in a day or less.
The applicant received around fifty certifications in an hour, whereas more than two hundred certificates were obtained in a mere two hours. 23,627 individuals used K Smart to pay a variety of fees. Municipal authorities’ bank accounts have received Rs 45.86 lakh through software and Rs 9.06 crore through online kiosks in their front offices.
Property tax makes up Rs 2.47 crore of this total. 11,642 buildings’ property taxes have been paid using the program. Property tax payments of Rs 2.12 crore made using online kiosks at Municipalities’ front offices and Rs 34.79 lakhs made through the app.
1. To create the K Smart plan, licensed supervisors received training.
2. Every representative of an organization has finished state-level training.
3. It will not be difficult for someone who is already paying taxes to keep doing so.
4. A temporary PEN number to be added to K Smart will be provided to temporary staff members.5. About half of the municipal council personnel have received their first training from IKM.
