As the world approaches the New Year, Jio has announced its much-awaited New Year offer for telecom subscribers. Jio is not introducing a new plan to welcome the new year, but rather adding an additional benefit to an existing prepaid plan as part of the New Year 2024 offer.
This New Year 2024 offer of Jio is available for prepaid subscribers. Jio currently offers an annual plan of Rs 2999. Jio is offering additional validity on this plan as part of its New Year offer. Currently the validity of this plan is 365 days.
2999 is a prepaid plan from India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio (jio) which offers its subscribers a validity of one year and all the benefits at a low cost. This plan provides data, calling and SMS with a validity of 365 days.
Now 24 days extra validity has been added to this plan as part of the new year offer. This gives 389 (365+ 24) days of validity to users who recharge now with the Rs 2999 prepaid plan. The benefits offered by this plan will remain available during this extended validity period.
With the addition of the New Year 2024 offer, users opting for this plan will now get telecom benefits for over a year at Rs 7.70 per day. By adding additional validity, the benefits that were normally available in this plan will be available for this additional validity period. So here calling and data benefits are added along with the validity.
Benefits Available in Rs 2999 Jio Prepaid Plan: This is one of the most suitable plans for Jio subscribers who want long validity. This plan comes with unlimited calling, 2.5GB data per day and 100 SMS per day. After the fixed data limit, the speed will be reduced to 64 kbps.
Additional benefits available in this plan include JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud. JioCinema Premium benefit is not included in this plan. But Jio has introduced another plan for those who want the JioTV Premium subscription which offers subscription to 14 OTT platforms for one year. The cost of this plan is Rs 4498.
Benefits of Rs 4498 Jio Prepaid Plan: This is also an annual plan. This is also the most expensive plan of Jio. Jio offers 365 days validity, 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day in this annual plan.
Apart from the basic benefits, this plan also comes with a one-year JioCinema Premium subscription, which is why this plan is priced higher. Priority customer care support is also included with this plan. The JioCinema Premium coupon on this plan is included in the Voucher section of the MyJio app, through which users can redeem it.
