On seven separate occasions, the popular site invited families and guests to join it and participate in the New Year celebrations. These celebrations will coincide with the celebrations that will be held by seven countries around the world as they enter the new year.
The Global Village celebrations will begin from the main stage with amazing fireworks displays that will light up the skyline of the facade. In the China region, the countdown to the New Year begins at eight in the evening, in the Thailand region at nine in the morning, in the Bangladesh region at ten in the morning, and in the India region at 10: 30 in the morning, and in the Pakistan region at eleven in the morning, and when the clock strikes midnight with the start of the new year in the Emirates time, the next most important celebration will be held, and there is also a celebration at one o’clock after midnight, with the beginning of the year in the Turkish region.
In addition to the distinctive events and entertainment shows, and the magical fireworks, guests can explore more than 90 cultures from all over the world, and enjoy distinctive shopping experiences in more than 3,500 shopping outlets, and more than 250 diverse outlets for delicious food, and artistic performances. Presented by artists from more than 40 countries, in addition to more than 195 exciting rides, games and various entertainment destinations, all of which provide guests with immersive family experiences that take them on a wonderful journey to an even more wonderful world.
Global Village opens its doors at 4:00 pm, and its working hours have been extended until 1:00 am during the period from December 24 to 30. In addition, on December 31, entry will be restricted exclusively to women and families, and will remain open until 2 a.m. This is done to ensure that guests are able to participate in all the celebrations that take place.
