The 2024 Telugu science fiction epic Kalki 2898 AD is being produced and directed by Vyjayanthi Movies’ Nag Ashwin. Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani are among the ensemble cast members in the movie. Inspired by texts from Hinduism, it is the first installment of the Kalki Cinematic Universe. The plot, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in 2898 AD, follows a selected crew on a risky mission to save Kalki, the unborn child of lab subject SUM-80, who is said to possess the key to the future.
