Its Dynamic Island style is similar to iOS. In light of users’ feedback, it will finally work out a new interaction and function. Already tested in the current HyperOS Enhanced Beta, this new feature assumes a compact and dynamic interface, where notifications and apps are controlled seamlessly.

Dynamic Island firstly added in HyperOS 1.0 but it didn’t look similar with iOS one. It came with some cosmetic and functional changes reminiscent of iOS: refreshed icons and fonts, smoother animations, redesigned apps like a camera and gallery optimized for one-handed use.

This refined dynamic design is not only aesthetic; it’s all about utility. Positioning itself as more than just a smartphone OS, from Xiaomi, comes HyperOS, which ties together a broad ecosystem of devices, from smartphones to IoT products. This move hints at Xiaomi’s attempt to offer more cohesion with the aim of creating a seamless experience between users’ gadgets.

Besides, HyperOS 2.0 is believed to retain all enhanced multitasking, AI-based ecosystem integration, and superior memory management as compared to previous versions and thus competitive against other top-tier systems like Apple’s iOS.

For those interested in trying for themselves those changes, HyperOS Enhanced Beta gives an interesting view on what’s to come-from the Dynamic Island to performance enhancements across all Xiaomi devices
