How services are available?

Registration can be done by clicking on the top left side of the homepage. Registration can be done only by entering the Aadhaar card number.
You will get the OTP on the mobile phone linked with Aadhaar. After typing the OTP, the name on the Aadhaar card will be displayed. Registration complete. Then a screen asking for mobile number will appear. Enter the number one more time, once again verify the OTP and enter the WhatsApp number and email ID to use K Smart.
Click on My Applications tab to know the applications submitted so far and their current status. There is an Apply tab at the top to submit a new application. The civil registration section provides an option for registration of birth, death and marriage certificates. Just below are the options for Property Tax and Building Permit.
Currently the service is limited to municipalities and corporations. Panchayats have to wait till April for K-Smartavan. The app has reached the Google Play Store under the name of KSMART – LOCAL SELF GOVERNMENT. Information Kerala Mission under the Department of Local Self-Government has worked behind K Smart. A Facebook post by the Minister of Local Self-Government stated that IKM’s 100-member team completed the app development in 120 days.
