Mithun Chakraborty, 74, a veteran Bollywood actor, will receive the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, conveyed the news on X. He stated, “Mithun Da’s remarkable cinematic journey inspires generations!” We are proud to announce that the Dadasaheb Phalke Selection Jury has decided to honor famous actor Sh. Mithun Chakraborty Ji for his iconic contribution to Indian cinema.”
