Trichy: Taking advantage of the growing need for more air connection between Trichy and Middle Eastern nations, a new daily service linking Trichy International Airport with Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), was introduced on Sunday.

Indigo, which is operating the flight service, made its maiden touchdown at the Trichy International Airport to a traditional water cannon welcome.

Landing with 173 people at 6.40 a.m. In exchange, the aircraft’s entire capacity was occupied by 186 passengers when the return trip took off. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays are the four days a week that the services will be available, according to sources at the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
